Media personality Do2dtun recently shared his thoughts on the legal profession, highlighting the often-misunderstood role of lawyers.
In a neutral and objective tone, he explained that a lawyer’s primary objective is to win cases by any means necessary, noting that this comes with important consideration.
Do2dtun emphasized that lawyers’ motivations are not always driven by empathy or personal investment in their clients’ cases, Instead, their success is often tied to their professional reputation and financial gain.
He likened them to “Necessary Evil,” a term that acknowledges their importance in the legal system while also recognizing their potential to prioritize winning over all else.
The media personality also noted that people often have a love-hate relationship with lawyers, criticizing them until they require legal assistance.
He however extended a shout-out to competent lawyers, emphasizing the importance of their skills and expertise.
On his Instagram page, Do2dtun wrote:
“A lawyer’s job is to win by all means necessary, but na you go bear the brunt at the end. It’s your burden, not theirs. The win is not cos they care. It just adds value to their practice. They get paid, go home & might not apply the same advice they give you in their real lives.
They are Kanayo of all Kanayos. They are the real definition of “Necessary Evil.”
Watching “SUIT” lately, and I see how crãzy they can be. Na dem go set you up, but na dem go still save you.
Some people don’t like lawyers, that is, until
they need them.
Shout out to all competent Lawyers. Good is not enough. I mean competent Lawyers”.
