How I lost university admission because of N20k – Ice Prince

Nigerian singer Panshak Zamani, famously known as Ice Prince, has opened up on his childhood struggles as an orphan.

The ‘Aboki’ crooner shared that his life took a challenging turn when he lost his mother at the age of 21, having already experienced the loss of his father at the young age of 11.

In a recent episode of the ‘Listen’ podcast, Ice Prince who shared his harrowing prison experience disclosed that he worked various menial jobs to support himself through school but did not attend university due to lack of N20,000. He said:

Despite all he passed through, the rapper has made a name for himself and is steadily reaping the rewards of his hard work. In the same interview, Ice Prince revealed he is the first African artiste to receive BET award on stage.

The rapper made the disclosure while speaking on his personal experience as well as his achievements.

Ice Prince clarified that while many believe Davido is the first African artiste to receive the award on stage, the notion is wrong.
