Content creator and comedian, Denilson Igwe has stirred up comments with his reaction to his former colleague, Mark Angel’s claim of losing a substantial amount of money in forex trade.
Mark Angel had taken to Instagram to share his reflections on the past year, revealing that he had lost $3.7 (over N5bn) million and was struggling to recover. He further described 2024 as his hardest year.
However, Denilson Igwe in a shady manner insinuated that Mark Angel was lying.
Taking to Instagram, he shared a cryptic post that read:
“Lies na water, some people are just worse than devil.”

The feud between Denilson Igwe and Mark Angel is not new, as the two were involved in a public dispute in 2024.
Denilson Igwe had accused Mark Angel of exploiting him, Emmanuella, a teenage comedian who was part of the Mark Angel Comedy team.
He alleged that Mark Angel paid Emmanuella a meagre monthly salary of N20,000, despite the team earning a significant amount of money from their social media pages. Denilson Igwe also claimed that Mark Angel had concealed the monetization of their pages and withheld substantial earnings from the team.
