Reality TV star Nengi Hampson-Rebecca has firmly addressed reports circulating on social media about her welcoming a child with Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri.
Taking to her X account, she clarified that she is not pregnant for any governor, emphasizing her frustration with the rapid spread of misinformation online.
Nengi expressed her decision to respond publicly, stating that while she usually ignores false narratives, this particular claim affects not just her but also people she deeply respects. She insisted that she would not allow a beautiful moment in her life to be turned into something.
However, Nengi seemingly admitted to being pregnant, stating that she is focused on enjoying her pregnancy in peace and extended well wishes to her fans ahead of Valentine’s weekend.
The news about Nengi being pregnant and welcoming a child with the governor was broken by controversial IG blog, Gistlovers, causing restlessness among cybernauts.

“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits so let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor.
