Kuda Technologies is facing legal action as its former Group Chief People Officer, Rosemary Hewat, has filed a case with the UK Employment Tribunal, alleging sex discrimination, victimization, and unfair dismissal.
Hewat, who served in her role for nearly three years, claims she was forced out of the company in April 2024 following workplace mistreatment. The case also names Kuda’s CEO, Babatunde Ogundeyi, accusing him of fostering a toxic work environment.
In response, Kuda Technologies confirmed the legal proceedings but declined to comment further, citing ongoing litigation.
The tribunal will review Hewat’s claims, including allegations of workplace hostility, exclusion from key decisions, and disputes over her equity compensation.
She alleges that her termination was in retaliation for raising concerns about discrimination and workplace culture.
