Nsukka, Enugu state – The South East Elders Alliance for Tinubu 2027, Enugu North Senatorial District chapter, has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The political support group stated that the South East has benefited immensely from President Tinubu’s administration.

The National Coordinator, South East, Hon. Humphrey Nwosu, cited the appointment of many Igbo sons and daughters into juicy positions.

The group, however, pleaded with President Tinubu to create an Executive Bill to amend the constitutional provisions in order to create new states in Nigeria.

As reported by Vanguard, this was contained in a communique issued after the inauguration of the group in Nsukka, Enugu State, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

TimesNow.com.ng earlier reported that prominent social media personality Reno Omokri dropped a strong prediction, saying President Tinubu will not lose the presidency in the 2027 election.

Omokri insisted that no coalition formed to unseat President Tinubu in 2027 will succeed if he decides to seek another term.

The top supporter of President Tinubu advised opposition forces behind the mooted coalition not to waste their time as their efforts would be in vain.

TimesNow.com.ng also reported that major stakeholders of the APC in Abia pledged to reclaim the state’s political structure.

The political actors vowed to secure victory for Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

This resolution was reached recently in Abuja as all factions of the party in the state came together under one umbrella at the residence of Uzor Orji Kalu, the senator representing Abia North.
